Small Parts 333::Description


This O-ring is made of black Buna-nitrile, is round in cross-section, has a durometer of 70A, and is designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.

Buna-nitrile can have high tensile strength, and abrasion, tear, and compression set resistance. It can be used in temperatures between -30 degrees F (-34 degrees C) to 250 degrees F (121 degrees C), and is compatible for use with petroleum, HFA, HFB and HFC fluids, vegetable oil, alcohol, acids and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

This Buna O-ring has a shore durometer of 70A. Shore durometer is the hardness of a material, and its resistance to permanent indentation. A higher durometer value indicates greater resistance to indentation on a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 indicating no indentation.

O-rings commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders. They are circular in shape, with a round cross section, and a hole in the center, similar to a doughnut. O-rings are available in various sizes, and can be ordered based on required nominal inside diameter (ID), outer diameter (OD), and cross-sectional (CS) diameter.

These Buna-nitrile O-rings meet standards defined by Aerospace Standard AS568A, which is the Aerospace Size Standard for O-rings.

Here's some stuff for consideration...
-Low profile keys. If you're a Mac user, you'll probably like it. If you're a Windows user (like me), you'll either not care, or get used to it.
-Very, very loud keys. You can try pressing them down as slowly as you can, but they'll still make a huge noise. On Ventrilo/TS/Mumble, EVERYONE will hear your typing, and it'll sound like you're beating something up.
-No "Function" keys. This is the reason I bought this instead of the Logitech keyboards. The F keys tend to screw up my finger alignment (I assume the left-most column is ~/tab/caps/shift/ctrl), so if you're like me, you'll appreciate the standard layout.
-The key illumination is stupid and worthless. You shouldn't be playing games in low/no-light conditions. If you turn the illumination off, there is very low contrast between the black surface and the letters. You're forced to keep the lights on at all times. Also the WASD-only illumination is superfluous and worthless, especially if you don't use WASD for movement (I use ESDF and A for crouch). This secondary illumination cannot be programmed. What's worse about it is that it's actually brighter than the normal "everything" illumination, and you'll wish the normal one was that bright. Trash feature in general, only there to make the keyboard look cool.
-Mirrored surface picks up fingerprints and smudges very easily.
-Worthlesss multimedia controls. Who uses those?
-USB cord is thick and sturdy. It won't knot and it won't wear.
-USB slot on the right side of the keyboard lets you connect a mouse without unbinding most of the wires. This keeps your workstation neat.
-Good comfort thanks to the plastic wrist support pad.

I'm fairly new to gaming and wanted a gaming keyboard that wouldn't lock up when using the same buttons over and over. I was attracted to the decent reviews and the style and it turned out okay for my first keyboard since I don't really care to use the software.

My complaints:
-You can't see the letters or numbers without the lights on (at all)
-Has a well known bug that it continually opens Windows Media Player. I had to uninstall media player from my computer to keep this from happening after trying to just turn off the feature.
-If there is even the slightest speck of dust on the touch portion of the media controls, it will spaz. I had to uninstall the Razer software to make it stop.

All and all, works for me....but maybe not for others.

I wanted to like this keyboard, hell I waited almost a month trying to figure out a way to fix the problems. The biggest problem with this keyboard is a well documented manufacturing defect with the media keys. The media keys at the right top corner of the keyboard had a problem and it would cause Windows Media Player to open automatically for long periods of time. I made the WMP process manual but even that help the issue. I emailed Razer support and they told me to update the firmware, even the latest firmware did not fix the problem. I went online and found out that the circuitry was the root cause and any software patch was simply a waste of time. My model number was not part of the alleged defective models and yet the problem is very well still alive. Razer knows about the problem, but they refuse to recall the faulty products.

I bought this fan to replace the original fan in my Thermaltake case... It was a perfect replacement and has been running with great results since installation....everything needed to install came with it, all I had to do is take the old one out and put the new one in. They were identical... I would definitely purchase this product again if the need arises to replace another fan ever came up.

Buying these fans was the worst mistake I could have made. First, I need to say it was my fault. I didn't pay much attention to the specs before I bought it.
I was looking for reasonably good and silent fans for my water cooling system's radiator so I bought 3 of these. The problem is: heatsink/radiator fans need to have a high static air pressure. This one's pressure is REALLY low so I have a good 360 radiator with poor performance due to the inadequate fans.
They are very silent and produce an acceptable airflow (50CFM is not much for a 120mm fan) but the price is good and they will do great as case fans (design, mostly)
They also come pre sleeved.

It worked great for 5 months, then would no longer charge with the AC adapter. (I was using it for an iPad). It trickle charged when the USB cable was connected. After 2 weeks more weeks, the USB connection was not recognized. Now it is useless.

Our experience with this device has not been a healthy one! It was actually used less than 10 times before it broke for no apparent reason. There was no foul play with the device on our part. This is the second one of these that we have purchased and have had problems with. Unfortunately, Amazon's return policy for this item is not helpful in this case either, as we did not save the original packing slip this time. Very disappointed.
